Tattoo You

When my brother was 19yo, he asked me to draft the idea behind his first tattoo — The Roman numeral IV with ivy wrapped through it — My brother being the 4th successor of his name in the family.
At the age of 10, I knew this to be a significant event: My brother wanted me to help with ANYTHING let alone design, art, concepts for legacy!
I wish I still had the college-line, perforated notebook page that I drew on with a blue ballpoint pen to create the inveterate block lettering so ubiquitous to the 90’s. But no.
What I have, is a thirty year old piece of amber in flesh. And my homage to him.
